Welcome to Monday Mocks, where Iβll bring youβ¦ you guessed it, a new mock draft every Monday during the off-season. In my opinion, drafting is the best part of fantasy football, so I do as much of that as I can. This series will be filled with all types of mocks. Weβll draft startups, rookies, devys and more.
Here at DLF, we typically release our rookie ADP in mid-February, following the Super Bowl. That will again be the case this year as our mock drafts will kick off soon. Every year though, I have noticed the thirst for information and analysis on the incoming rookie class grows and we want to fuel that need. With that in mind, over the past week, I hosted over a dozen rookie drafts on Sleeper. I participated in each mock draft and invited my Twitter followers to join me.
I took the data from those mock drafts to form an early sneak peek at what dynasty superflex rookie ADP might look like, at least until next monthβs NFL Combine brings a shakeup.
Weβll have countless articles in the coming weeks and months analyzing the strengths and weaknesses of each rookie but in this article, the focus will be on the specific ADP data, some early trends and where the ADP data and DLFβs own rankings disagree.
Tier one
1.01 β Bijan Robinson, RB Texas
ADP- 1
Earliest Pick- 1.01
Latest Pick- 1.01
To the surprise of no one, Texas running back Robinson was the 1.01 pick in every mock included, even with the superflex format. Even if the quarterbacks land in favorable spots, it will be a rarity for Robinson to not be the call with the top pick.
