Is there a reason you think Addison’s 40 time was solid, and are still keep him wr2 over Johnston? 4.49 is pretty bad for weighing sub 173, and he didn’t test well in any of the events he did. People were knocking Jahan Dotson last year for running a 4.43 weighing at 178, and he had a much better combine than Addison. Others have run 4.5 at 200+ lbs and that’s usually perceived as average. Not saying they aren’t good playmakers, but just can’t see how those guys are gonna succeed as the top wideouts on NFL teams. They could prove me wrong, but I’d rather bet on Johnston’s development and ceiling personally. Similar to how I think most would much rather Christian Watson right now over Dotson.
I feel like you’re selling Roschon Johnson a bit short. His 40 time wasn’t anything special but his 10 yard split was. He was dead even with Bijan and Gibbs at 1.52. He was never a fast guy but he clearly possesses the burst to succeed at the next level. He’s worth a closer look.
