I’ll never prefer this ambiguous and sanitized AI model over the imperfect and more insightful human view. Human beings love the game, a machine will never ever love anything or have emotions. It is emotion that connects us to the sport and game of fantasy football. It is interesting that the robot model evaded giving a direct answer and appeared to have the ability to “deflect ” effortlessly. Behavior eerily similar to our politicians.

When I say that was my favorite part, I’m not lying. The AI deflecting like you’re asking someone on twitter for trade or draft advice was uncanny. I wouldn’t say the AI was “wrong”, but it definitely wasn’t “right” if that makes sense, and I agree with you, it seemed to lack a certain nuance that humans have for dynasty. Maybe it is the love for the game that was missing. It’ll be interesting to see how AI develops and if it becomes an integral part of fantasy football in the future. If you think about lineup optimizers and draft kits, that is all computer generated, so maybe we’re not as far off as it seems.
