Source on jk dobbins 4.37 time? That didn’t happen at a pro day nor combine. I wouldn’t put him in that elite category, don’t think that’s accurate.
It’s amazing to see how far medical science has come. ACL injuries used to be career ending (Ki-Jana Carter anyone?). Now most of these players come back better than they were before the injury, much like baseball pitchers and Tommy John surgery. I normally don’t fade players with ACL injuries anymore (and only ACL. I will shy away if it also involves PCL, MCL, & LCL), providing the injury occurred prior to age 27 and they still have opportunity on their team. Usually I can pick up these players returning from an ACL on the cheap in trades with more cautious owners.
About the only injury that I truly shy away from is an Achilles injury. Very rarely does anyone return to form after an Achilles injury.
Good article!
