Edit: in 3rd para (including intro) “Pittman finished his freshman season…” should read, “London finished his freshman season…”

Excellent article, but beyond the ankle I think there are legitimate concerns about his speed. He apparently won’t run the 40… anything to hide? He’s apparently calculated a 40 time could only hurt his draft stock.

Thanks! Put in his own words, he didn’t have the same time to train for the 40 like others did — he was still rehabbing the ankle (just started jogging the week prior to the Combine). It would’ve been nice to see him run a nice time at his pro day, but it’s still a pretty quick turnaround for someone with a lot more to lose than to gain at this point, so I’m remaining optimistic about the speed he showed on film.
