You don’t think he can re-emerge with some offensive coordinator and head coach stability? Feel bad for the guy. I think his ceiling is capped but the fact he can’t find a job is embarrassing. Maybe he’s just an a-hole?

I think the Browns are a horrible organization who did a terrible job of building around him—coaching and players. I absolutely still believe in him and hope he can resurface elsewhere and prove the doubters wrong.

Hope you’re right. I was a big fan of his out of college and his playoff run was great to watch and I’m not even a Browns fan. I think I really want to see a Pete Carroll Baker marriage.

I completely disagree. He had a top 5 O-line, a great run game, viable receivers and a top 10 defense. Injured or not, he didn’t capitalize on the opportunity.
The Browns organization has been light years better than prior regimes and are going in the right direction.
Baker will be a starter somewhere but he’s not a top 15 QB.

“Injured or not” except that he was injured, the running game was not the same with Chubb and Hunt missing time. The offense Stefanski is running is not a spread/downfield system. Baker proved in 2020 he could perform at a high level, but who was his best receiver?? Landry? A banged up Beckham? OBJ showed he still has something in the tank, but that’s another story altogether. That organization did him no favors from the day he walked in the building.
