I think Moore is more diverse in his route running amd creating separation across the field. Both buys in dynasty but Im all in on Moore as Zach Wilson continues to grow.
Jets added WR Wilson round 1 10th overall (WR2) plus RB Hall EARLY round 2 (RB1) so there are going to be more mouths to feed. Corey Davis isn’t going away if healthy too. While Indy did add Pierce in round 2 (WR12) and Woods round 3 (TE2) they are not at the same skill level as Wilson and tight ends generally takes years to be pro ready so I disagree on your reasons to take Moore over Pittman. Pittman only 2.5 years older is only going to be 25 this October, far from being an older player.
Win now I’m going Pittman. Rebuild I would probably gamble on Moore, who seems to have a higher ceiling.
Agreed with Stephen. How are Hall and Wilson great additions to the offense but Pierce and Woods are going to take touches away? Woods is a project and Pierce is a deep threat. Pittman still has a chance to be an alpha. Moore has a much less clear path. Colts are a way better organization than the Jets and Zach Wilson hasn’t really proven anything. Moore also has a significant injury history going back to college and already missed time in his rookie year.
I do love both players but Moore seems to clearly have more variables in his outcomes.
For sure. It’ll be interesting to see if Saleh and McDaniel follow Shanahan’s blueprint of run first or create a hybrid style. Moore definitely has a higher upside if he gets Deebo type touches. I know Matt Harmon compared him to AB as far as skill set. I’d love to have both players on my squad for sure. Thanks for the responses too! Always great to get as much input as possible.
