Let’s see Elijah Moore is 5’9” with Zach Wilson throwing him the ball while Tee Higgins is 6’4” with Joe Burrow throwing the ball

Moore has elite athletic measurables though (4.35 40yd, 6.67 3 cone), while Higgins underwhelmed on nearly all is his speed tests. Definitely takes a buy-in on Wilson, but hard to see him not taking a decent step forward this year in that offense.

Ya I’m not really pro Moore or low on Moore I just read the title and thought I don’t really see the similarities and popped off that smart ass comment. I don’t own any shares of Moore and I own several of Higgins so I am biased. My biggest problem is Zach Wilson and I thought the Jets really reached for him. I’ll need to see some actual success before I buy in. Burrow was one of the best QB prospects by consensus to enter the league in years. The height issue does seem somewhat real and it’s difficult to find many really good WRs under 5’10” You wouldn’t think 1 inch would be such a big deal but seems like it is

Yeah they’re definitely not similar as players. It’s moreso the situation and production metrics that are similar. And yeah, 1-for-1, I think anybody is going to take Higgins over Moore right now. I don’t think the article is trying to suggest Moore will be equal in value, but trying to use a recent example to paint optimism for a breakout. For the height, it’s definitely a tough bar for some to get over, but I think the rest of his athletic and production profile makes up for it. Some examples of successful receivers under 5′ 10″ include Tyreek, DJax, and Wes Welker. Moore also won a lot on the outside this past year. I sent the 1.03 and the 3.03 recently to get him along with the 1.10 and and 2.10, so you could say I’m bought in lol.

Mentioned above in another comment, but I sent the 1.03 and the 3.03 to get him along with the 1.10 and 2.10. the owner liked him a lot, but I think was ok giving up for the perceived immediate impact the 1.03 could bring

I was all over Moore last year in rookie drafts in the high 2nd round and saw him go off during his 5-6 game stretch but with all that’s happened had been devaluing him this off-season for the reasons you mentioned. Might have been open to even trading him.

Thanks for this reminder and analysis.
