I agree with taking Cousins in this instance. I think he could have his best year ever with a new, aggressive play caller. Great article. You called it right down the middle.

I was getting nervous for a second you’d say Wilson 😂

Mattdodge40 echos my feelings as well. Yes, the Jets did improve on the offensive side of the ball immensely and they have certainly given Wilson enough to improve and succeed (as a Breece Hall owner, I hope that happens). However, that could take some time and while that is working itself out in Jersey, Cousins and O’Connell re-unite.
The article doesn’t mention (or maybe I missed it) but during Cousins’ last year in Washington (2017), O’Connell was the QB coach, so there already is familiarity between the two. While some may make an argument that the Minnesota offense will take some time to get used to what O’Connell is trying to do, I think the fact the two (Cousins and O’Connell) already have worked together negates the “slow uptake, get-up-to-speed)” argument.
Loved the article!

For dynasty purposes I’d take Wilson and cross my fingers NY doesn’t “Jets” this one up, but it’s close. Redraft? Cousins by a country mile.
