I was so tempted to take Pierce at 2.01 in my rookie draft. Ended up with Metchie instead but this dude is better than his draft capital. I hope he pays off too because the talent is there!

What’s the more likely outcome over the next couple seasons with Pierce…
Reliable RB with weekly upside, or
Matchup-based dart throw

Hey, Greg. Great question. I think we will learn a lot from camp. If Mack isn’t the lead dog then Pierce could run away with the job and be a low-end RB2 most of the season with some upside for RB1 weeks sprinkled in here and there. Unfortunately they play in a tough division so expect some down weeks even in a lead role.

Took him at 2.02 and wondering why I have buyer’s remorse as I read this. I need a locked and loaded 2nd RB on this particular squad and he’s the closest I could get – here’s hoping!

Spillers stock tanked with his athletic testing, IDK how Pierce is getting all this hype over Spiller. He looks even slower on tape. I’d take the younger, more proven (in college) Spiller all day over Pierce… both ended up in good landing spots.
