I love him… I can’t help it, I love everything about him. Not a huge CFB fan(usually starts watching videos of these guys in February), but he looks like the guy out there. His teammates seem to believe in him.
I am concerned about all of the weaknesses that you mention, especially some of his blips under pressure. I think he will get a handle on it over time.
He’s going to probably a tough start, but I think of he gets in early this season, he will improve every week.

For the cost of acquiring Ridder, I am all in. Even in one QB leagues (dynasty of course)

Some of those blips can be coached, but the snap decision-making will come with experience and blocking. He can get through those progressions and build some pocket confidence if he’s protected. The good side of that is he still has the dual-threat escapability, which also bodes well for fantasy value.
Love the cost and it’s worth the shot to see how he develops.

Great info John! Maybe a good idea to do a QB handcuff with Trubisky and Ridder in Superflex?

With the expectation that Ridder WILL get chances to play, having Mariota handcuffed with Ridder is a pretty solid idea.
