If the rumors are true, that JK could start the season on PUP, and Edwards isn’t 100% yet either, Badie could easily be the RB1 to start the season in Baltimore, especially if he “shows out” during Training Camp and Preseason. Now, even if he were to be the RB1 in Baltimore, he would probably still split carries with a couple other guys, so he probably wouldn’t really be a “true” RB1, and def not for fantasy. Probably more like RB2/3, just until JK comes back
Probably Mike Davis as lead RB even if Badie impresses in camp. He has the same measurables as Ray Rice but is not nearly the runner. They trotted out Freeman last season for a good chunk despite fantasy preseason darling Ty’son Williams. Very hard to see Badie contributing except in a scripted role. Personally, I’m taking Strong, Ingram and Kyren over him in that spot.
