Landing spot > talent…this approach has not served me well, starting flipping that around, and have found more success. The 16th overall pick Dotson going after Bell on Cleveland, case in point imo on why that strategy is BAD. Let’s re-evaluate this draft in 1 year 🙂
Agreed. Situation does matter if someone is buried or can’t get reps but I’ll always take the pro-ready talent over the Denzel Mims’s and Doreal Green-Beckham’s of the world. I’ve almost always gotten burned when I’ve gone for athleticism + situation over pro ready player + patience. Situations change so rapidly, less talented players cannot compensate for losing their ideal situation.
Really interesting to see the results of your mock. This draft is crazy different from the ADP listed for my MFL home league so I’m definitely hoping some of these guys slip to me in the 2nd and 3rd. Dotson at 2.05 is stealing. Pierce stands out at your 3.03 too given how well he’s done in camp.

Question about the simulator itself. Are you able to to select multiple picks in a round or remove picks from a round to accomodate for trades you might make?
Nope no one has made a simulator that allows those of us who have multiple picks in one round to have a true mock draft, why I don’t know but it’s pretty common to have owners with more than one pick per-round. I’d like to think it could be done but why it isn’t is anyone’s guess.
This feature is for sure on our development roadmap. ETA… a couple of months? Have a few other things in the hopper atm. Thanks for the suggestion, we appreciate all of the feedback!
