I was a bit late with scouting him, but when I did, he moved up my draft list pretty quickly. Took him at 1.16, passing on the “consensus” pick Watson, and so far I like that decision. I think him and Pittman will form a nice duo for years to come and make life easier for the next young Colts QB.
I drafted Pierce at the 3.09 in our rookie back in May, only because he looked like a player who’d slipped through the cracks relative to his ranking. I didn’t have a need at WR (my strongest position) but this will have turned into a lucky pick if Pierce is as good as advertised.
