Burks = N’Keal Harry way too much for me. I’ll take Jeudy all day.
My thoughts exactly!
I could not disagree more. The player Burks reminds me of is C. Sutton who I do not believe gets enough credit for being a #1 reciever. I would take Burks over Jeudy and it is not a difficult decision. I selected 2 WRs with #1 picks Jeudy’s rookie year and he was ranked the best. I went a different direction and drafted Lamb and Justin Jefferson and do not believe I made a mistake with either. Jeudy was a great college reciever but great college recievers don’t always translate well into the NFL (see also D. Smith).
Burks hasn’t shown an ounce of readiness so far. I’m shocked this is even a debate. Jeudy 10/10 times with Russ.
It takes about 3 years for analysts to give up on their guys. No matter what they hold on to hope they weren’t wrong. You could probably find a few that still think Mimms and Harry just need a chance.
Wasn’t the kid’s name De’Andre Carter who had awesome, fabulous metrics a few years ago? Am I remembering that right? And was highly sought after? I should know; I still have shares of him, waiting for him to realize all that potential.
In regards to Burks, I have said it before and I’ll repeat it here; there is about a 50% hit rate on 1st round-drafted WRs. There were 6 drafted in the 1st this year; that means the odds are 3 will bust. Burks, for me, is one of those 3. Don’t draft the other two! 🙂
Burks can’t separate and can’t get on the field. He also plays for a heavy run offense. I’ll take “my chances” with Jeudy!!!
Yeah take the Dynasty Pick just of the CURRENT Situation. What if the Titans get another WR next year? I take the better Player with the much better qb
