Great article! I like the future look-in, and also believe this QB class could be special, if not generational in talent.
I will say I am much higher on Iamaleava. I have him as a top-2 QB in this class based on what he has done on the camp circuit against the top competition and given how raw his talent is still. You mentioned the physical tools…the arm talent is ridiculous. I’m not sure it’s fair to ding his frame as a rising HS senior. At 6-6, 205 lbs, he’s not Chet Holmgren skinny. Trevor Lawrence was 6-6, 208 as a high school senior. Peyton Manning was 6-5, 205. In fact, proportionally, Jaden Rashada is even thinner at 6-4, 180 lbs.
Iamaleava (and Rashada) has time and opportunity once he’s completely devoted to football and weight-training. There’s no reason to assume he won’t add weight and wind up in the Justin Herbert/Trevor Lawrence body mold by the time the 2026 draft rolls around. That’s only an addition of 20-ish pounds.
