Great information as always! Curious if you would target Cooks over Hopkins? I was shopping for a W3 to make a run this year and offered Cooks owner 2 24 2nds but he countered with what should be a very early 23 2nd I have. It feels like to much but wanted a 2nd opinion! Thanks in advance
I don’t think that’s all that bad of a counteroffer. But, since it seems like he is willing to deal Cooks, I might counter with, “Ok, so you want to move up year in draft pick AND in round value from mid-to-late to top-tier 2nd?? Then I want something else in return to add to the will be 30-years-old-WR-when-your-drafting-high-in-the-2nd-with-my-pick. Maybe you could add a depth piece for the rest of this season. If it works out, who cares if you spent a high 2nd to do it? And if it doesn’t? Well, you took a chance and some gambles pay off and some don’t.
