Sorry man, this just makes no sense. Buy Gesicki high and sell Akers low? The timing just doesn’t make sense to do those now. Why not wait for Gesicki to come back to earth next week inevitably and Akers to possibly get dealt where he gets a possible value boost?
Sold Akers before the rookie draft as part of a series of trades that ended with my having CeeDee Lamb, Justin Jefferson, Breece Hall, and three 2023 first round picks. I love that league. Anyone who saw Akers in last year’s playoffs should have sold high on him.
I just sold Etienne for Javonte Williams and a 2023 2nd in a league I’m rebuilding in. I’m pretty pleased with the deal. Helps the other owner this season and hopefully me next.
Why Sell London? There is always a chance the Falcons end of losing games and draft a qb to replace Mariota. That had to of been the GM’s plan from the get go.
