Week 15

For most all leagues, the playoffs now begin!

I hope the dynasty gods shined their blessed light upon you this fantasy season and that you find yourself in the playoffs as we near a close-out of 2022. If there's one thing I've learned in 20 years of the dynasty format (and 25 years in fantasy) it's that reaching the playoffs is never ordained and, despite the paper-strength of a team, there still take a healthy supply of good luck and good fortune to move into the post-season. Sometimes, at least, just side-stepping too much bad luck is good luck in and of itself.

Week 14 was a bit brutal in some of the bye week players, for me that most impacted receivers such as Terry McLaurin, Chris Olave and Christian Watson while also missing running backs Aaron Jones and Alvin Kamara. Thankfully, however, outside of one particular league, which I'll highlight below, it wasn't overly impactful. I hope the same for you.

Looking at last week's action, I had a couple of big misses in my advice but nothing which I could have avoided. Jerick McKinnon for the Chiefs finally decided to have his big day. I think we all knew it was coming but just no way to forecast when. He finished as the 6th overall best scorer in week 14 in PPR formats. Mike Williams also returned to have a big day. I typically don't like to start injury-returning players unless I have no better options. Thankfully I started him in two leagues, deciding to sit Zonovan Knight in both cases. Knight actually had another decent day.

All-in-all, it was a good week of advice and week 15 is looking interesting with some of the matchups. Specifically, Mahomes against a sturdy defensive secondary of Houston. Seattle hosting San Francisco. The 49ers have a top defense which could be an issue for Geno Smith, DK Metcalf, Tyler Lockett and Kenneth Walker, if he plays. The Dolphins travel to Buffalo and a mid-December game in Buffalo always carries some degree of weather risk. As of right now, we're looking at cold temps, a little wind and forecasted snow.

I'll be doing everything possible to give you an advantage this week so keep your questions coming. Keep them a bit shorter if you can which allows me to spend more time researching.

Good luck

Team Tracking

Going to do something a bit different this week as I sum up my regular season results. As you likely remember, I use 13 teams for my tracking including two new ones for 2022. I'm going to give a quick summary of each of these teams here so you know what I'm playing and how each performed to expectations. For quicker reference, I'm just going to use my league description so you can mostly ignore it.  Generally speaking, all my leagues are PPR and most are 1QB but I do have a few superflex teams and I'll label those (SF) specifically. Following each label I'll summarize the record through week 14.

Here are the leagues:

WCD (7-7)

This is the league which founded DLF! It is also the league where I have a COMPLETELY different focus from all other leagues. You know how when you have a lot of leagues, it's tough to root for players since a player winning a game for you in League A is beating you in League B? The fix for me was the WCD league. Starting about 10 years ago I decided to have a league where I don't care much about winning as much as I do amassing my favorite players and, especially, lots of draft picks. This means I will forego the better player so that I can maximize my favorite aspects of dynasty, those being rookie drafts and the players I like watching on Sunday. I highly recommend this augmentation to your dynasty experience, giving you one team where it's purely your favorite sandbox.

I did not make the playoffs and this team lost some of its top performers due to injury. I finished third in my division of five teams, only the top two advance.  I also hold the prospective (we use a draft lottery) 1.01 in 2023 as well as the 1.06. Going to be fun. I think this team could be a powerhouse starting next year.

Dynasty 4 (11-3)

Finished at the top of my division and will get a first round bye though I did lose Deebo Samuel, a late-season trade I made to make up for the loss of Mike Williams. Acquisition of Samuel cost me my 2023 first and second round picks. Being that they are late picks, I still like the deal.

Dynasty 6 (9-5)

Finished at the top of my division and should get a first-round playoff bye (I'm writing this on Monday so bye status could change). This has always been a strong team and I hold two first-round picks in 2023, my own and the prospective 1.04.

Dynasty 7 (8-6)

Made the playoffs but will be third in a very tough division. Lucky to still be in it following the losses of Cooper Kupp, Darnell Mooney, JK Dobbins and D'Andre Swift. Not sure I have enough to advance very far but this team made the championship game last year.

Dynasty 9 (9-5)

Made the playoffs and finished at the top of my division. This stings a bit because heading into MNF, I had also secured a bye but Marqise Brown dropped his last target and I lost by two points, also losing the "W" and the bye. This team finished 3-11 last year. Unbelievably, I lost Marquise Brown and Breece Hall and still turned this team around though I don't think it's as strong as the record to be honest.

SUL9 (10-4)

Made the playoffs and finished at the top of my division. Won the championship last year as well with this team and it's strong again. Did lose Cooper Kupp however.

SUL10 (8-6)

Made the playoffs in what is the toughest division of any of my leagues. Won the championship last year and may be on the outside looking in this year.

7RIA (SF, 10-4)

Ah yes, probably my second favorite league and the first for competition. I've never missed the playoffs. It's a 14-team league which gets its name from the fact that we have a seven round rookie draft in April (Seven Rounds In April). Yes, before the NFL Draft. This is the team I referenced recently. I will finish 10-4 on the season and NOT make the playoffs because of our playoff system which awards victory points based on weekly scores, not just W's. After losing Dak Prescott early and trading Deshaun Watson, I got beat up with injuries (Stafford, Kupp, Mooney, etc.)  starting in week nine or ten and it was a slow slide. Despite my record, my points scored are pedestrian. I still had a chance in week 14 but had to piece together a team from the waiver wire. On the positive side, this is a VERY strong team when healthy and the Watson trade has turned into the 1.01 and 2.01 and my own predicted 1.08. That's three of the top 15 picks including the 1.01.

DFFL (6-8)

Won't make the playoffs here but I didn't have my sights on that until 2023. This was a sad-shape orphan I took over last year. I was able to draft Najee Harris and Ja'Marr Chase along with Rashaad Bateman last year. This year I landed Breece Hall (1.01) and Treylon Burks (1.04) to go with Tyler Allgeier in the 2nd of the rookie draft and my late sleeper of Isiah Pacheco in the 4th. I also traded away Gabriel Davis for DeVonta Smith in a straight-up offer I couldn't refuse. It's now a great young looking team which would have performed better if not for injury and I have the projected 1.04 pick in the upcoming draft.

DLF 001 (SF, 3-11)

An orchestrated rebuild obviously not making the playoffs. Traded away Josh Allen for a huge haul of picks and players. This team still has Austin Ekeler, Miles Sanders (trade), D'Andre Swift, James Robinson (trade), Darnell Mooney, Josh Palmer (trade), Alec Pierce, Juju Smith-Schuster (trade), Michael Thomas and Jameson Williams and also projected picks 1.01, 1.02 and 1.05. Pretty excited about the future though I need quarterback help.

Safeleagues 189 (9-5)

Could be my strongest team of all but it has never won the championship. Heading to the playoffs again and just lost Deebo Samuel.

RTS SF1 (SF, 10-4)

First-year league and a strong looking team.

RTS SF2 (SF, 7-7)

Going to just miss the playoffs here but it's not a bad looking team which had some unfortunate injuries. I fully expected to reach the post-season with this squad after drafting but lost two-of-three starting running backs and had three receivers underperform: Courtland Sutton, Allen Robinson and Elijah Moore.

I finished this week 9-4, bringing my total record to 107-75. It's a solid record impacted by my rebuilding team. Ultimately, I've made two of my teams strategically poor which has cost me something near 12 wins. Flip those losses to wins and I have a record of 119-63, that's far more notable and will be my goal for next year.

Strategy

Not much I want to talk about here other than my strategy for starting players in the post-season.

I don't change much when it comes down to it but I spend even less time trying to get "cut" or creative with my lineups. In most situations I bench risk and start snaps/role. That means players coming off of bad injuries, especially high-ankle sprains or players with very inconsistent production hit the bench for me in favor of players who I know will be on the field as many plays as possible. This means I will be using last-flex plays of under-the-radar such as Donovan Peoples-Jones, Darius Slayton, Adam Thielen, Christian Watson, Zay Jones and Mack Hollins while avoiding shoot-the-moon plays such as Jameson Williams,  Amari Rodgers, Van Jefferson, etc. Some players like Van Jefferson have a role but inconsistency is just too great to play.

When it comes to setting playoff rosters, I want players with snaps/role in my lineup to maximize the chance of one play getting big points. It only takes one 60 yard touchdown reception to make for a decent day. It's all about maximizing the opportunity for points while trying to avoid the low-floor games.

If there's every a week to go chalk with your plays, week one of the playoffs is it.

Good luck out there!

So, for the second consecutive year I managed to make the playoffs with one of my teams without a regular starting QB (it’s a super-deep league, so QBs are super expensive and the rest of my team is solid and young, so I’d rather bet on myself than overpay premium assets for a subpar or band-aid QB), and pick up injury-replacement QBs late in the year when no one else has much FAAB left. Last year I got to the final game with a combination of Huntley and Tim Boyd. Would have even won it if I had played Boyd over Huntley 🙁
Last week I won with Huntley, but now I also picked up Driskel and McCoy, and Anthony Brown just for the fun of it. Which one would you start this week (Huntley/Brown @CLE, Driskel vs KC, McCoy @DEN)? I’m wary of any of the BAL QBs though and currently would lean McCoy.
Thank you, and good luck to you too!

Thank you, Jeff! However, as I said I’m a bit wary of the BAL QBs. Yes, Huntley can operate the same offense, but I think his efficiency is a bit overrated. In his 5 games last year he had 1 great, 1 average, 2 subpar and 1 poor scoring outcome, and last week would have scored below 10 pt too, if not for the last-second rushing TD. And maybe also because he cost me the title last year. So I’ll probably still go back and forth a bit and wait for the final BAL injury report. But still thank you 🙂

Hey Jeff! First time, Long time.
TNF. My league is a 6pt. PPR league. I basically need two of the following for my flexes, please:

  1. David Montgomery
  2. Brandon Aiyuk
  3. Hollywood Brown
  4. Darius Slayton
  5. Bam Knight
  6. Gabe Davis

I currently have Aiyuk and Slayton in as I don’t feel especially good about the other match ups and/or volume. I think Aiyuk and Slayton are relatively safe but could also deliver big games. My opponent and I are pretty fairly matched so I don’t need huge risk. Thanks as always! Good hunting in the playoffs! Thanks, Sean

Thanks Jeff! Much appreciated. Bam is very interesting. If he didn’t have the tough match up, he’d be a auto start for sure. Love the insight! Thanks again.

Hey Jeff! I just wanted to give you props and thank you for your advice. I ended up benching Knight when the Zach attack was named starter but I used Monty as your other suggestion and heck yeah! I kept Slayton too until Rhamondre was made active and made the switch there too. Daaaaannnng! We were both wrong about Aiyuk, LOL, but oh well. Anyhoo, thanks again. I’m sure I’ll be asking your advice again this week. 🙂

General question. How concerned should I be with Chubb’s lack of production with Watson as his QB?

Hi Jeff,
Well, went 3/3 in making the playoffs, snagging 1 bye and missing another bye by one single effing game. BUT getting into the dance is most important. Here we go. **TNF**!! and Saturday!!
1). 1 pt PPR, 1 QB, IDP
-Mike White vs DET or Aaron Rodgers vs LAR
-Aaron Jones vs LAR or Elijah Moore vs DET (already starting Dalvin Cook, Travis Etienne, Derrick Henry, AJ Brown and Terry McLaurin). Or would you sit Etienne and start both Jones and Moore?
-Start 2 of these 3 LBs: Drue Tranquill vs TEN, Fred Warner @ SEA, Logan Wilson @ TB
2). 0.5 pt PPR, 1 QB, IDP
-Tua @ BUF or Mike White vs DET (am I overthinking this? Tua even with a tough matchup?)
-Choose 3 of these 4 RBs: Dobbins @ CLE, Aaron Jones vs LAR, Bam Knight vs DET, Swift @ NYJ
-Dawson Knox vs MIA or Higbee @ GB
3). SF, 1 pt PPR, IDP
-Choose 2: Brady vs CIN, Goff @ NYJ, Rodgers vs LAR, Matt Ryan @ MIN (feel like Goff and Rodgers are the most trustworthy here?)
-Etienne vs DAL or Bam Knight vs DET
-Kevin Byard @ LAC or Kamren Curl vs NYG (I know, safeties are tough)

Thanks for your help as always man!

*TNF/Saturday*
Sounds like you had a fairly good showing so far this year! Best of luck in the playoffs!
I’ve got one team in it the race this year (one orphan I’m working on retooling and only 4 teams make playoffs, and another start up that has been ravaged by injuries). Anyway for my start/sit questions:
12 Tm, SF PPR
How are you feeling about Dobbins? Would you sit him for Knight, Rachaad White, Mostert or Dillon? I don’t know if Baltimore will have any choice but to try and win through JK and Gus against a questionable Cleveland run D.
I also have the misfortune of having a couple tricky QB/SF decisions. I’ve got Geno going against SF which will be tough, Brady v. CIN, White v. DET (if healthy), Heinicke v. NYG, and Carr v. NE. My gut is saying stick with Geno despite the tough match up and roll out White. Any thoughts?
Thanks for your help all year, appreciate all the thought you put in! Good luck!

Hey Jeff, well, it’s playoff time once again. Have made the finals the last 3 years (1 championship & 2 sloppy seconds), let’s roll! (Standard Scoring)
NOTE: (I’m #1 seed buy my opponent has some great matchups with Dak, D Henry, J Williams, Keenan Allen & Andrews)

QB: I have Lamar, Huntley & Tua
If Huntley clears protocol, do you start him @ CLE vs Tua @ Buf, I’m thinking yes.

RB: Planning to start A Jones at RB1 (Hm vs Rams) & M Sanders at RB2 (@ CHI) but here are my other options in case I’m missing something:
* D Swift @ NY Jets
* D Foreman Hm vs PIT
* AJ Dillon (Hm vs Rams)

WR: starting J Jefferson as WR1, pick 1 of these for my WR2:
* T McLaurin Hm B’s NYG
* T Higgins @ TB (injured?)
* Godwin Hm vs CIN
* C Watson Hm vs Rams
*
Starting Kelce at TE

Thanks for all your help my friend!

Ha! Don’t punt man! Thanks for your input Jeff, highly valuable as usual! Some clarification….

At RB, I can only start 2 – planning to start A Jones & M Sanders. Did you realize that & would start Foreman instead? If so, instead of who? Or it might have read like I was choosing a 3rd RB.

WR….wow, Watson….I will need to man-up to make that call, still thinking McLaurin but we shall see!

Interesting that you would keep Tua in if Huntley goes, he helped me win some playoff games last year when Lamar was hurt, but I get it.

Patrick Hanley
Reply to  Jeff Haverlack

😂 the Fake Punt is appreciated!
Even with a big chunk of his points vs Chi being that long run, I’m warming up to Watson, plus having played in cold weather in college is a bonus (supposed to be 5 degrees @ Lambo). One bright spot for me is that my opponents players are all done after Sun afternoon games – with McLaurin going Sun night & Watson Mon night, I can factor that into my decision based on where things stand.

On to Tua…I get what you’re saying, but projecting 5-7” of snow in Buffalo. Tua did terrible in cold weather game last year & Buffalo lost to them in Miami, so that D will be fired up. If he goes, Huntleys rushing yards could be decent, if Bal focuses on the run game. Decisions, decisions! Thanks for all the input, no reply needed, I know you’re busy.

Same here! Thanks. I’ve been doing this so long, I lost the championship years ago when AP & Megatron both played in snow (separate games), wrecked my day & lost- don’t like snow in the playoffs! 😎

will combine two league questions here if that’s ok.

League 2

  1. TJ, Kittle or Shultz?

Thanks for all your help!!

Hey Jeff, I am already planning ahead to next year. Briefly, I am allowed 3 keepers and lose the round they were most recently drafted in minus a round. Chase, for example, was originally drafted in the 8th as a rookie. I kept him this year as a 7th rounder. Next year he costs a 6, and so forth. Players drafted in the first or second round each year cannot be kept. .5 PPR scoring. Which 3 do I keep?
Chase (6, no brainer)
Deebo (9)
Dobbins (9)
Garrett Wilson (11)
Rachaad White (14)

10 Team ½ point PPR
Need two of four RBs:
S Barkley @ WAS, R White vs CIN, JK Dobbins @ CLV and D Foreman vs PIT. Barkley does not have a great match up but tough to sit him. Dobbins has the best match up on paper.
Need three of five WRs:
C Lamb @ JAC, K Allen vs TEN, DJ Moore vs PIT, J Williams @ NYJ and M Evans vs CIN. Allen and Lamb are locks and assuming just go with Evans despite the struggles.
Thanks in advance

Adam Thielan vs IND

TNF

Hello Kemo,

McKinnon would have helped but I only lost the 6th spot in all play by just over 1 pt so it really came down to poor performances from any of several players. This returning champ started 7-2 and finished 8-6 but managed to stay in the 4th playoff spot by a high points tiebreaker. Overall, 2022 was an improvement with 4 out of 5 “pro” teams getting in along with 2 of my 4 “fun” leagues. Now the real work starts…..and our playoffs are three weeks of total points competition to take the ring.

PPR
1) Three DST questions – Seahawks or Jets DST? Cowboys or Patriots? Cowboys or Jets?

2) K Myers or Folk?

3) Walker is off the injury report for TNF and supposedly good to go. Do you feel confident in him vs SF DST after what happened to Mostert/Wilson 2 weeks ago? I have Jones, Kamara, Jamaal, and Walker (plus Akers) available for my 2 RB slots and 2 flex. I have McKenzie, Demarcus, and Julio as my remaining non-starting WR’s to use for a flex spot as well. Jamaal finally missed a TD last week and is going against the Jets. Any advice for my 2 RB’s and 2 flex spots?

Thx as usual.

Snuck into the playoffs despite horrendous qb play.

I’m starting Purdy if he is active. If he isn’t I’m left with Dalton, Baker, or Pickett. Gotta be Dalton coming off the bye right?

Kittle vs Chig? Torn here with Kittle’s string of bad games, but with Deebo out I’m leaning Kittle. Definitely not a question I thought I’d be asking.

Injuries have destroyed me. I need two QBs from this group listed in my order of preference:

  • T Brady vs Cin
  • T Huntley @ Cle
  • Geno Smith vs SF
  • C McCoy @ Den
  • T Heinike vs NYG

In the flex I have some interesting options 1 PPR and 0.25 PPCarry. Again Listed in my current order of preference but I only need one.

  • L Fournette vs Cin
  • D Harris @ LVR (If healthy I think he’s the choices but not sure if he will be)
  • J Wilson @ Buf

Thanks for you all your help!

Hi Jeff. Really could use your help in this first week of the playoffs. Two part question for a 12 team .5 PPR league. Which 2 WRs would you start from the below and I have the flex option to start a RB in place of one of those WRs if desired so should I start James Cook, Hunt, or Gus Edwards (already starting Dobbins) in place of one of those 2 WRs? Thanks in advance!
-Juju (Mahomes is my QB)
-Higgins (would be an easy start but concerned about the hammy, also already starting Chase)
-Marquise Brown (concerned about the backup QB situation)
-Diontae Johnson (maybe better potential if Trubisky starts in place of Pickett??)

First game of league playoffs. Non PPR, 6pt TD
Need to pick between:
Ken Walker, G. Pickens, V. Jefferson, D. Slayton, TJ Hockenson.
Not liking the matchup for Walker and its his first game back. Not sure what to expect.
Was planning to go with Slayton due to matchup and volume thrown his way.
Thoughts?

Jeff, I come crawling back as your humble subscriber to beg your assistance for the first time this season.
Do I start Damien Harris, Alvin Kamara or Michael Pittman in a non-PPR league? I enter the playoffs as an 11-3 wildcard because my division rival was 12-2 and got the 1st round bye instead. I can’t flame out in the first round. …leaning Pittman but don’t feel good about it.
Also, would you bench Chris Godwin in favor of any of the above options?

0.5 PPR. 6 Pts Per Pass TD. *Saturday Night Football*
Missed out on a bye by a sliver. Time to make a run!

  • 1 Flex: Garrett Wilson, Jamaal Williams, Singletary, DJ Moore, Drake London (Logic says Zach Wilson is going to ruin the fun but they have to throw to someone right? Otherwise Jamaal Williams and pray for some TD’s?)
  • 1 SuperFlex: Russ, Heinicke, or any of the above. (If Russ is healthy, I think he’s the play right? Last week was encouraging and Arizona is a good matchup)

Thank you!

Hi Kemo,
I like the “start your studs” edict. Unfortunately all of my studs are in the walls of my house and not on my fantasy teams!! Saturday games make player choices for questionable Sunday players really interesting if not difficult. And I’ve lost Lockett on two teams possibly for the playoffs….

PPR
1) Starting Jacobs/McKinnon along with Lockett/Waddle/Hollywood. Need two flex from Mostert, Jeff Wilson (iffy), Hollins, Cobb, Atwell, and Chris Moore who I just picked up on waivers. Leaning Moore with no one else to catch in TX but can’t decide between Mostert in the Buffalo snow and Atell who is finally getting some usage in LA.

2) Started CMC last night (yay) and Aiyuk (ouch). Stevenson did practice on Thurs but limited.I need two flex from Foreman (if I don’t put him in for Stevenson), Mike W, Jeudy, Lazard, Alec Pierce, and Demarcus. Was leaning Mike W and Jeudy but worried about Rypien throwing to him.

3) Josh Allen has been okay but not great and now it’s back home to snow and cold. I have either Tua or Burrow available. Stick with the guy that got your here or???

4) Starting WR Adams and Waddle. Need my #3 from Gabe Davis, Gallup, Jameson, or Cobb or any other warm body on waivers.

Hey Jeff. Hope you’re well. Half PPR and first round of playoffs. Am I crazy to think about starting Foreman (or Hubbard?!) over Etienne? Don’t like the matchup against Dallas and feel like Foreman is guaranteed touches in an easier game? I may be overthinking this! Thanks as always.

Working thru your earlier response. Thx. Not starting Josh is tough but hoping Burrow is the safer play today. In my other Josh game, my backup is… Tua. There I think I’ll stick with the guy that is used to sub-freezing temps.

A couple of late ones that I meant to send out last night.

TE Njoku or Dulcich?

Ravens or NYJ DST?

Thx Kemo.

And in answer to your earlier reply to question #4 – I’m the 4th seed and an underdog to a very strong returning champ. But I can’t control the weather in Buff. I have both Davis and Waddle and probably have to start Jaylen as my #2 after Davante but will consider the Cobb/Gallup options over Davis as my #3 WR.

I expected more from Aiyuk the other night with Deebo out. Really thought Purdy would target him more.

I also picked up a electronic stud finder to wall mount my TV a few weeks back. Maybe I can use it to find a replacement for Lockett………..

Morning, with Cleveland playing today I’m wondering about:
1. Dak or DeShaun?
2. Standard redraft league w/wk 15 and 16 only for playoffs: Dropping Goedert for Njoku if Goedert hasn’t been officially named as playing by Cleve kickoff today? I can pivot to Dulcich Sunday if I stick with Goedert and he’s then out or on a pitch count.
thanks!

Hello! Todd here! Thanks and Happy Holidays!
.5 PPR standard scoring, having a real tough time with choosing one of these flex options:
Gabe Davis vs MIA, Rachaad White Vs CIN, Brian Robinson vs NYG,
Michael Gallup @JAX, or even Marquise Brown @DEN
I have them ranked in that order, but I’m worried about Davis! Happy Holidays and thanks!

Kemo,
Regarding your earlier DST comment –
I have the Jets right now vs Detr penciled in for tomorrow. Do you prefer the Pack over them? I was planning on dropping Seattle on Sunday AM BB waivers with their upcoming games not looking great and Green Bay is available along the the Panthers going against Pitt.
My two other playoff teams have Dallas and Washington and I’m leaning in their direction at this moment but have room to pick up the Pack on those rosters.

Burrow in for Allen on my 1st place team. Goats in my neighborhood are running for their lives. Coyotes are too quick for me…..

Ouch! Guess I need a big game from Burrow.

Hi again Kemo,

PPR
1) Flex Gallup or Akers? I was originally holding Akers in case Aaron Jones was held out on MNF. If I flex Akers instead of Gallup on Sunday, I still have Lazard as an emergency flex fill in for Jones.

2) Need my WR #3 from Curtis Samuel, Hollins, or Agholor?

3) Reset my lineup a bit from an earlier discussion we had –
RB – CMC, Foreman
WR – Diggs, StB, and Ai-yuck. 🙂
Flex – Mike Williams, Jeudy or Stevenson if he is active (all three have late games).

Trying to figure out Belichick is impossible but since the Pats didn’t bring up another RB from their practice squad, I’m wondering if they are planning on Stevenson starting with Strong/Kevin Harris as backups. Would you play Stevenson over Jeudy if that happens or stick with him and Rypien?

EMERGENCY! In my opening playoff game my opponent has Cousins..he of the NFL history making and 44 Fantasy Points Cousins. I am trailing big time…but have Burrow, Conner, Olave, Keenan Allen, and Kelce coming up. In my last position should I play Bam Knight or JuJu in the .5 PPR 12 team league?
Thanks Jeff

What do you think of James Robinson’s future? It surprises me he cannot crack the NYJ line up. I assume he will be on another team next season but what would be the chances he will be a starter? Or will he just be a back up or unpredictable committee back? What are your thoughts Jeff?
Thanks!

Hello Jeff. PPR Flex…Gamble that Stevenson will play at 4pm, Bam Knight, Swift or Chris Moore since he plays at 4pm.

Also, Mac Jones, Tannehill or Heinicke as my SF?

I didn’t phrase this one correctly earlier, my bad –

Flex – Mike Williams, Jeudy or Stevenson if he is active (all three have late games).
Trying to figure out Belichick is impossible but since the Pats didn’t bring up another RB from their practice squad, I’m wondering if they are planning on Stevenson starting with Strong/Kevin Harris as backups. Would you play Stevenson over Jeudy if that happens or stick with him and Rypien? correctly earlier, my bad.

Was planning on Mike W as my first flex. I was trying to decide between playing Stevenson (assuming he’s active) over Jeudy with his Rypien QB issues. Just couldn’t figure out which was the riskier player in their case and thought I would “call” my lifeline.

I didn’t check the last minute Buff weather and made the switch even though my gut was killing me. Let’s see how it goes with Burrow in Tampa.
Thx.

I had penciled in Johnson and left him there when I thought you had left for the day. Hate to tell you this, but I have only looked at a few of my results so far. Burrow did okay with 4 TD’s but lost some points to Josh on passing and rushing yds. Hopefully, it’s will work out okay.

I’m have a few silly superstitions and really need to rid myself of them. On my “fun” won or done games, I’ll check results only after the MNF game. But last year, on my single three week total points playoff team, I didn’t look at any of the weekly points results until after the last game was played. My team won but this year I have four of my five teams from that total poins system in the running even though three were 4th place finishers. So far, I haven’t heard much but have checked a few individual scores. Putting Stevenson back in worked out nicely. Thx for all your help so far.
