Points may be few and far between in this one
I’ll be looking strongly at the under 41 in this matchup. While the jury is still out on Watson as the leader of the Brown’s offense, they’ve managed to score fewer than 10 points per game (taking out defensive and special teams scores) since his return, and now go up against a top 10 defense as far as season long EPA/play against goes.
With lots to figure out yet for next season’s fresh start, I don’t think the fact that the Browns are eliminated from playoff contention will play too much into this equation, but there is rumblings of keeping some wear off of the important pieces with a possibility of Chubb getting less run in favor of trying to find some touches for Jerome Ford
On the other side of the ball, Carson Wentz has been a bottom five quarterback when he’s been in action this season and the Cleveland pass rush has been very nice when all the pieces are healthy. Looking for both offenses to struggle in this one and the first team to get to 17 points to be your winner.
