Welcome back to our regression trends series. This week we’ll start rounding out the season by looking at who has been the most touchdown-starved all season. Next week we’ll switch it up and see who is ending too hot and should see a drop in touchdown production next season.
I probably should have known Alvin Kamara having a low rushing yard per touchdown was a trap. As for Courtland Sutton, he did get his red zone role back, unfortunately, there were only two targets inside the 20-yard line and they were split by Sutton and Albert Okwuegbunam.
My firm call of last week, Travis Etienne, worked out though a lot of those rushing touchdowns and went to other players and he only managed to snag one.
Week 18 and beyond
I’ve taken a broader look this week and removed the recency filters. Here are the most touchdown-starved players of 2022 in both the rushing and receiving games.

Great stuff Peter. I agree AKamara still has something left, albeit with a potential suspension looming. Can you share what rookie draft pick value would you put on him in 1QB and SF?
